Terms of service
Last updated 3 October 2026·Version 1.1
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Farvez Anzam, who operates Complyoo (“Complyoo”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using complyoo.com you agree to them. If you use Complyoo for an organisation, you confirm you can bind that organisation to these terms.
2. What Complyoo does
Complyoo helps organisations prepare for the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025. It generates draft policies and templates from the information you provide, and offers a free website scanner.
3. Not legal advice
Complyoo is not a law firm. Generated documents are starting points, not legal advice, and no lawyer-client relationship is created. You are responsible for reviewing documents with a qualified professional before adopting or publishing them, and for your own compliance with applicable law.
4. Your account
- Give accurate information during sign-up and onboarding. Generated documents are only as accurate as your answers.
- Keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Complyoo.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload personal data of your customers or employees into Complyoo. The product only needs business information.
- Use the website scanner on sites you do not own or have permission to test, or to overload any website.
- Copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, or access it through automated means other than those we provide.
- Use Complyoo for anything unlawful.
6. Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Razorpay. Prices are shown on our website and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellations and refunds are covered by our refund and cancellation policy.
We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. Changes apply from your next billing period.
7. Your content
You own the information you provide and the documents generated for you, and you may use them freely within your organisation and publish them. You give us permission to store and process that content only to provide the service to you.
8. Complyoo Guard
If you install Complyoo Guard for your organisation, you are responsible for telling your employees and contractors that it is in use and what it records, as described in our privacy notice. You act as the Data Fiduciary for that activity data and we process it only on your instructions. Guard reduces the chance of personal data reaching AI tools, but no automated check catches everything.
9. Our service
The Complyoo software, design and brand belong to us. We work to keep the service available and accurate, but it is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated documents will meet every requirement that applies to your organisation.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including penalties imposed on you by any regulator, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using Complyoo and cancel at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonable. After closure we delete your data as described in our privacy notice.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will email you at least 14 days in advance. Continuing to use Complyoo after changes take effect means you accept them.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India.
